FLX_BACKEND_NGINX_001 Alert

Description

A critical Alert is raised when there are errors on nginx services for the last 5min.

Severity

This alert is flagged as Critical.

Customer Impact

This alert indicates that numerous errors are being occurred on the nginx service and this might cause issues in the flex user experience.

Operational Remediation Process

Login to the server which is hosting the flex-nginx-proxy service.

$ ssh SERVER

Note the health state of the affected service.

$ docker ps | grep nginx

Get the logs of the services.

$ docker logs <container_name>

You can give try to restart one service at a time and wait for it to become healthy. Check the logs again and verify the error repeats.

$ docker compose stop <service name>
$ docker compose start <service name>

If the error repeats even after restart, The issue should be escalated to the customer support team.
