FLX_APP_BLACKBOX_001 Alert

Description

A critical Alert is raised when HTTP(S) probe has failed for the flex URL for the last 5m.

Severity

This alert is flagged as Critical.

Customer Impact

This alert indicates that the flex URL is unreachable and down. Flex Url will not work and Users won't be able to get the flex page.

This is an outrage and needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

Operational Remediation Process

Try to access the flex page and see if this is a real alert.

Note down the HTTP error code displayed on the page.

Eg: in 501, the error code indicates that the server in the backend is not fulfilling the HTTP request and the backend needs to be checked.

Another place to check the overall health check system is to log in to the xymon and grafana dashboards.
