Monitor
Last to be deployed is Flex monitor instance. Its deployment is straightforward and will bootstrap the system's monitoring stack.
Several parameters can set, as described in Monitoring Customization Guide but only few are mandatory:
dalet_flex_metrics_grafana_admin_password: "{{ vault_dalet_flex_metrics_grafana_admin_password }}"
dalet_flex_logs_admin_password: "{{ vault_dalet_flex_logs_admin_password }}"
These 2 variables defined admin access credentials for respectively Grafana and Kibana, allowing you to check you metrics, dashboards and logs.
By default, they're mapped to their vault-encrypted equivalent so anything you really need is to defined the vault_ variables with a secret password of yours.
If you've used templating, these vaulted variables have already been randomly defined for you. Nothing's required for operator's perspective.
Next, just run the monitoring playbook:
$ opsctl deploy -p dalet.flex.monitoring_server
Once done, you should be able to log into Grafana and Kibana WebUIs.
