Setting HTTP Proxy

Depending on your IS/IT security policy, it is possible that your Dalet Flex instances have no direct outgoing Internet connectivity.

While Flex itself does not necessarily requires Internet access, its installation, deployment and upgrade does.

If Dalet Flex is behind an HTTP(S) proxy, it is possible to simply declare so at the the platform level.

Simply extend your platform's ansible/vars/variables.yml file with the following:

dalet_baseos_network_http_proxy:
  enabled: true
  url: "http://my.local.proxy/"
  username: ""
  password: ""
bypass: [] # list of IP addresses for which direct connection is prefered, bypassing proxy

where username and password parameters are optional (depending on your corporate settings).

Note that the bypass parameter allows to whitelist a series of IP addresses which are directly reachable.
