Email Backend

Email alerts can be enabled by simply turning the following flag on:

dalet_flex_metrics_alerting_email_enabled: true

Define the sender email address to send local alerts notifications from and the associated recipients:

dalet_flex_metrics_alerting_email_sender: "alerts@{{ root_domain }}"
dalet_flex_metrics_alerting_email_recipients: ""

Last but not least, select the alerts severity threshold to trigger email notifications.

Eligible severity levels are: critical, error, warning and info (in decreasing severity order).

Multiple severity levels can comnbined through a pipe.

dalet_flex_metrics_alerting_email_severity: "critical|error"

Once set, don't forget to update the monitoring server instance:

$ opsctl deploy -p dalet.flex.monitoring_server
